Warranty Policy
At Margot Georgia Jewellery, we take pride in the quality of our products. Each piece is
carefully inspected before shipping. However, in rare instances, a fault may occur.
Our products com with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a product does not meet acceptable quality standards but does not constitute a major failure, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 This Warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable laws (Consumer Law Rights).
1.2 Warranty Period
If a product is found to be defective due to improper workmanship or materials from within the date of purchase (Warranty Period),
- 6-month warranty applies to all jewellery items.
- 12-month warranty applies to Solid Gold jewellery.
we will:
- Repair the product,
- Replace the product, or
- Issue a full or partial refund for the defective item.
Your Consumer Law Rights may extend beyond this Warranty Period.
1.3 If necessary materials, parts, or features for a repair or replacement are unavailable or no longer in production, we will make every effort to use appropriate equivalent alternatives.
2. How to Make a Warranty Claim
2.1 To claim under this Warranty, you must:

- Proof of purchase (invoice with the date of purchase), the product name, order number.
- A description of the issue, and clear photos.
- Please note "Item is Faulty" as the return reason.
If requested, return the product along with its original packaging, parts, accessories, and documentation.
Provide any additional information required to assess your claim.
2.2 All claims are reviewed by an independent jewellery specialist.
3. Warranty Exclusions
3.1 Some of our products are delicate and require careful handling, as outlined in our product care guide.
3.2 This Warranty does not cover defects caused by:
- Loss of the product.
- Chain breakage (unless due to defective materials or workmanship).
- Normal wear and tear, including tarnishing and fading of plated jewellery.
- Accidents, negligence, or unauthorised repairs.
- Failure to follow care instructions.
- Misuse or improper handling.
- Continued use of a defective product.
- Failure to notify us of a defect within a reasonable period.
- Events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or unforseen external events.
3.3 Additional services requested outside of warranty coverage may incur extra charges, which will be communicated before proceeding.
4. General Terms
4.1 "We," "us," or "our" refers to Margot Georgia Jewellery (ABN 80362686141).
4.2 "You" or "your" refers to the purchaser of our products.
4.3 "Products" means jewellery purchased from Margot Georgia Jewellery.
4.4 "Supplier" refers to an authorised distributor or retailer of our products in Australia.
4.5 This Warranty is part of our Terms and Conditions and Return Policy.
4.6 This Warranty applies only within Australia and is governed by the laws of New South Wales.
4.7 If there is any inconsistency between this Warranty and our Terms and Conditions, the Terms and
Conditions will prevail.
